Position Descriptions
1. Regional Sales Manager
Ballard Technology, Inc is in search of outstanding Regional Sales Managers in the North East, Mountain and West Coast Regions of the United States.
Requirements:
- Significant sales track record in the Avionics market place, with closing experience.
- In-depth industry and account knowledge
- Ability to propose, describe and defend appropriate solutions for customers in the form of value propositions with an eye for detail
- Develop territorial quotas and regular forecasts to set goals and substantiate sales achievements.
- Effective management of both end customer accounts and territory Reps/Distributors
- Professional manners in resolving problems and complaints through proper internal channels
- Self Motivating and well organized to work from personal home office environment
- Travel to customer sites for technical assistance and sales closure on a regular basis
- Excellent verbal and written communications in English
- Sound computer skills with CRM and Microsoft Office products.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Working knowledge of 1553, ARINC, Fibre Channel and other databus technologies
- HW/SW Engineering or Project Management experience
- HW/SW Engineering Degree
2. Engineering Consultants
Ballard Technology is seeking engineering consultants for new product development. Either part time/temporary employment or an independent contract relationship will be considered.
Consulting opportunities:
- Aerospace systems requirements
- Aerospace mechanical packaging
- Aerospace validation testing (MIL-STD-810, DO-160)
- Design verification (DO-178, DO-254)
- Printed Circuit Board layout
General requirements:
- Professional experience in area of consulting
- Experience developing aerospace products
- Experience with aerospace requirements, products, and practices
- Experience with avionics databuses is desirable
