Ballard Technology now an AS9100B and ISO 9001:2008 registered company
 EVERETT, WA (December 11, 2009) - Ballard Technology, Inc., a leading developer of avionics databus test, simulation, and embedded products, today announced that it has received AS9100B and ISO 9001:2008 registration for its quality management system.
Effective October 29, 2009, Ballard Technology received certification from STR-Registrar LLC (STR-R), an ANSI / ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) accredited international provider of management system registrations. Ballard Technology is now certified to both AS9100B and ISO 9001:2008.
AS9100 is a standard for quality management systems specific to the aerospace industry and is based on the more common ISO 9001 standard. AS9100 has additional requirements that are essential to ensure product, process, and service safety and quality for companies that serve the aerospace and aircraft industries.
Registration brings additional credibility to Ballard Technology's long standing quality management system and ability to meet the industry's rigorous quality requirements.
