Apr 2010 - AB2 Aircraft Interface Device Receives Supplemental Type Certificate

The AB2-AID Aircraft Interface Device has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the Federal Aviation Administration. The FAA granted the STC to L2 Consulting Services, Inc. for the installation of a four position Class 3 Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) system for ARINC on a Cathay Pacific Airways Boeing 777 aircraft. The Ballard AB2-AID interfaces multiple avionics systems to the EFB system.
