Announcing CoPilot Version 4.83

The New CoPilot


Ballard Technology is pleased to announce the latest release of CoPilot: version 4.83 (released March, 2008). CoPilot integrates MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, AFDX, ARINC 708/453 and Serial functionality into one package. CoPilot users can host multiple boards and multiple databus protocols in the same CoPilot project. CoPilot version 4 introduced many new features for MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, ARINC 708, and Serial ports. CoPilot version 4 introduces the AFDX protocol into the CoPilot family.

New Features in CoPilot 1553 version 4

Standard Plus
— Host OmniBusBox and Omnibus VME multi-protocol boards (Remote Ethernet controllable)
— Monitor Analysis tools for real-time bus loading, error and utilization statistics
— Use the new Cockpit View control panel window to quickly link to flight controls and displays
— Additional automation/scripting support for: data file exporting, dynamic SA & BCMsg creation, monitor start/stop
— Timeout reporting in 1553 View window for messages, sub addresses and fields

Introducing Serial Ports in CoPilot
