LC1553-3

The LC1553-3x is a family of dual-redundant MIL-STD-1553 interface boards for CompactPCI computers. This family of MIL-STD-1553 cPCI products provides a range of capabilities from basic single-terminal emulation to multi-terminal simulation and error injection. Models can be upgraded in the future to meet changing requirements. The powerful features and upgrade paths make Ballard Technology's cPCI MIL-STD-1553 family of boards an ideal solution for hardware and system development, testing and simulation.

The easiest way to use the card is with CoPilot 1553, the powerful databus analyzer software available as an optional package. CoPilot 1553 supports and greatly simplifies tasks associated with defining and scheduling bus controller commands, defining BC and RT data values, and capturing and analyzing data. The CoPilot 1553 system, with CoPilot 1553 and a LC1553-3x board is an exceptional value.

Alternatively, software developers can use the bundled Application Program Interface (API) that enables quick and easy development of custom applications. Driver software is included for Windows. Linux drivers are available.

cPCI system

ARINC 429, ARINC 708, ARINC 717, and MIL-STD-1553 cards are also available through Ballard Technology as part of an integrated cPCI system. Every CompactPCI system is uniquely configured to meet the requirements of the customer and is tested and certified for immediate use. CoPilot software support is available.
