Multi-Protocol products are capable of concurrently hosting more than one avionics protocol on a single product.
The USB 429/717 is a highly portable USB 2.0-compliant device for communicating with ARINC 429 and/or ARINC 717 systems. These USB devices offer 4 to 16 ARINC 429 channels, up to 4 ARINC 717 channels, 8 input/output avionics level discretes, and IRIG time synchronization/generation. All power necessary for operation is provided via the USB port. The USB 429 is small, lightweight, and rugged and is the IDEAL replacement for PCMCIA applications!
The Avionics BusBox 1000 Series product is a small, light-weight, embedded computer with built-in avionics databus interfaces for 1553, 429, 708, and 717 with Serial, Ethernet, USB, Discretes, Flash, RAM and a real time clock for embedded operating systems such as Linux, VxWorks, Integrity and others.
The Avionics BusBox 2000 Series product is a rugged, small, light-weight, conduction cooled, embedded computer with built-in avionics databus interfaces for 1553, 429, 708, and 717 with Serial, Ethernet, USB, Discretes, Flash, RAM and a real time clock for embedded operating systems such as Linux, VxWorks, Integrity and others.
The newest family of PCI and PCI Express cards for communicating with ARINC 429 and ARINC 717 systems. Models offer 4 to 32 ARINC 429 channels, and up to 4 ARINC 717 channels, 16 input/output avionics level discretes, and IRIG time ynchronization/generation. The sequential monitor has a DMA mode that automatically moves records to host memory through PCI/PCIe bus mastering.

Older products are classified as legacy if they are still in limited production. Most legacy products have a more modern alternative and should be not be designed into or used on new programs. Legacy products are subject to parts obsolescence and may become unavailable with little or no notice. Legacy products have a limited one year warranty.
Products are classified as obsolete when they are no long in production either because there is no longer a demand for them or because parts to produce them are no longer available. Obsolete products should not be designed into or used on new programs. A limited number of new or refurbished obsolete products are sometimes available. Obsolete products have a limited 90 day warranty.
